Thank you to those of you have logged into seesaw and started to upload work. I have really enjoyed seeing what you are up to.
If you haven’t already please try to log on to seesaw today and take a look at the activities set. I would love to hear your child’s favourite pirate joke and see how many pirate words they can think of.
You can also upload work and photographs to show me what you have been getting up to at home.
I will be adding activities regularly so please keep checking.
If you have any problems please do not hesitate to email me for support.
I hope everyone has enjoyed their Easter holidays and had plenty of chocolate treats to eat. I have sent you all an email with activities for this weeks home learning and look forward to seeing some of the work you produce.
Please remember you can email me with any questions or for any support needed.

I Just wanted to let you know that I will be out of contact for the next two weeks for my Easter holidays. I will be back in touch the week beginning 13th April. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Easter. I hope you all have lots of Easter fun and enjoy some Easter treats too.
Good morning everyone,
I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for week two of home learning.
In the packs I sent home, I included enough work for this week. Please continue to work through your packs. If you have any questions about the work please just drop me an email or even if you would like more work! As you complete work please send me a photograph, I would love to see how you are getting on. If you are completing other tasks not on the list of physically, please keep a note of what you have completed and when in your home learning book. There are so many different ways to learn!
I have noticed that some of you have been working online using the log ins I sent home. Please make sure you log on to Lexia daily and TT Rockstars to practise your times tables. I will keep checking to see how you are doing.
Today I would like to set you another challenge. Attached to this post are ideas for a scavenger hunt around the house. Either use the ones attached or create your own for someone else. Have fun, I would love to see pictures of your hunt too.
Again if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Even though we are apart for now, we are all still part of The Hub.
Good morning everyone,
I have another challenge for you today. As you know I love reading and finding a comfy spot to read in. My challenge for you today is to choose a favourite book to read and find the comfiest place you can to read.
You might squeeze down the side of the sofa, snuggle up in bed, make a den out of pillow and duvets. You can read on your own or with a family member.
Feel free to send me a photo or draw a picture in your book and write a sentence to say where you read.
I just wanted to let you know that Read Write Inc are doing daily speed sound lessons to help your child practise and develop their phonic knowledge. I have included a link below:
Daily virtual lessons for children
From Monday 23rd March we’re scheduling Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home.
We will release three short Speed Sound lessons with one of our trainers every day for the next two weeks. They will be available for 24 hours each.
- Set 1 Speed Sounds at 9.30 am
- Set 2 Speed Sounds at 10.00 am
- Set 3 Speed Sounds at 10.30 am
Hope you have had a good first day of home learning and are being well behaved for your adults. I started my morning off with my son doing cosmic kids yoga on YouTube. Why not give it a try? Joe Wickes is also doing a daily exercise class on You Tube to help you keep fit and healthy.
In the packs we sent out you have an array of work but remember that you can also add in your own ideas, why not bake and practise your maths skills of weighing and measuring? Create your own fantasy world out of Lego and write a description in your book. Remember to keep a record of what you have done. this can be a note in your book.
Today I am sending you a challenge to do. Create a rainbow and display it in your window. You could draw, paint or collage one. A rainbow is a symbol of joy and happiness and we all need a little of that at the moment. If you go out for a walk, take a look around and see how many you can see displayed in windows in your area.
I would love to see your pictures and any other work you have completed. Take a photo and send it to me by email:
Have a good day everyone
